I apologize for this is being posted now. ;c I hope it still
counts even through I believe the contest ends TODAY.

Had a lot to deal with in real life at the moment...
Which is why I been kind inactive here. :<

Small story behind this:
~ Reu is protecting a new flower that somewhat found a way to grow
from the snow. Bella seeing him decides to bring him some hot chocolate. ~

Anyways, the term of the contest is 'New Beginnings',
You can take it as two different ways here...
One being Bella(LemurDog..thing) becoming new friends with Reu(Wolf)
or the flower Reu is protecting against the snow being the first sign of spring coming.

And yet another time, the exploits of Meru managed to take me breathless.
i have to admit that first my eyes where draw towards that delicious looking cuppa choclat.

great work on the snow, the little density defferences creates a really nice sense of depth. also the little upflowing snow just above the ground is a lovely attention to detail in there.

the snow itself could also mean a new begin, a soft white blanket to cover the traces from the previous times.

Aww Meru this is adorable!

I love the scratchy gradient of the red on the front legs quite a bit and the proportions are wonderful! <3 I also really like how you can tell which direction the wind is blowing by where the snow is placed. It looks like he's been standing there a long time the poor thing! The texture in the background also works really well to imply clouds on a darker afternoon sky *w* Wonderful work as always!
